📖 Filming Guide

📷 Camera & equipment

• Use Insta360 X4 / GoPro MAX / Ricoh Theta Z1 (Equirectangular 360°)
• Record in highest quality (5.7K or above) — final file is fine
• Use an invisible selfie stick or low tripod, not handheld
• Camera height ≈ 1.5-1.6m (eye level for natural viewing)

🚶 Walking & route

• Walk slowly and steadily, avoid sudden turns or jumps
• Keep camera pointing in walking direction (don't spin while moving)
• Start recording before you start walking, stop after you stop
• A typical route is 30s–8min (we'll auto-sample 20-30 viewpoints)

🙈 Hide the photographer

• Use invisible selfie stick — your hand and stick disappear from final view
• Wear neutral clothing (avoid bright colors)
• Look forward, not at the camera
• System auto-hides ground area, so feet won't show

📍 Start & end naming

• Use clear physical landmarks: "Main gate" / "Library entrance" / "Campus square"
• Use the same names you'd write on a campus map
• Students will see these names when navigating — make them intuitive

☀️ Lighting & weather

• Best: soft daylight, overcast or golden hour
• Avoid direct midday sun (harsh shadows + lens flare)
• Indoor: turn on all lights, avoid backlit windows
